Special Planning Meeting for 2017-18
I hope everyone had a great year and you are looking forward to the new-year. We wanted to provide you a brief summary of the past year and some information for the coming year. We had a good year in general. We started the year by doing a member survey and there was a general census that the EPCMC should try moving the meetings to a new location and consider having some of the meetings in Lakewood Ranch. We had four regular meetings, three joint meetings with the SWFEPC, and our year-end dinner at Ortygia Restaurant (everyone that came really enjoyed it.) We split the regular meetings between two locations – Polo Grill and Pier 22. We would like to share our thoughts with you about using different locations sometime.
We are having a planning meeting on June 20, 2017 at the Manatee Community Foundation at which time the proposed board members listed below will be voted on. Please accept this email as your notification of this special meeting. We will be going over a financial summary for the past year, confirming the new officers and board members (anyone is welcome to volunteer), planning the meetings for the coming year, discussing meeting location and a number of other topics that are important to you as members.
